It’s 73 degrees.  That means…BIKE RIDES! The best thing about living in the south is the warm winters.

I need a house for all my books.
Yesterday I spent countless hours at the book store. I only walked away with two. This is a small victory considering I usually walk away with 30. However, I did add about thirty to my list of “must purchase.” I am always looking for good reads so recommendations are welcome! These are the two books I picked up:

snow...in Ga...
….WOAH! Like Joey Lawrence circa Blossom whoa.  Ok it wasn’t massive amounts, but it was enough to take Lola outside to see it.  She was bundled up to the point she looked like a marshmallow or three.  I want to move north so Bjork snow women can be built.

Merry Christmas Everyone! Santa has stopped by. Now we just wait for Lola to wake up and open all the goodies. I have a feeling the paper will be the best part.

You know it’s Christmas when your 7 month old wakes up and goes straight for the Christmas presents. Too bad she doesn’t understand it’s just Christmas Eve. She’ll have to wait til tomorrow. Eh, maybe just one will be ok to open ;)

A pipe or three have exploded some place in our house and now all the bathrooms are hemmoraging (SP?) water.  I have officially ruined all of my towels trying to clean it up.Water has even overflowed onto the hall carpets and in the babies bedroom. PLUS we have to stay up half the night waiting for a plumber. D:  UGH. HAPPY SUNDAY!  (at least it didn’t happen on Christmas)

Clothbound Penguin Classics
I would love to get these books for Lola to have for later use. Anthropologie has The Secret Garden, Anne of Green Gables, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Adventures of Robin Hood, The Wind in the Willows, and Peter Pan.

Today Lola’s amber teething necklace came in the mail. I was so excited only to open the package and realize that it is too dang small. :(  I managed to fix it so she could wear it. I just hope this works cause she is having a hell of a time with the whole teething process. Ch’moonnn teething necklace. Don’t let me down!

Christmas presents for an almost 7 month old are boring and generic. I am not internet savvy so finding unique things online isn’t easy for me either. :/ I suppose it won’t matter too much. She won’t remember her first Christmas. Still, it’s kinda a bummer that I haven’t found a keepsake type gift. Sigh.
